The Grain Marketing Board (GMB) has a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy in place that guides its efforts to make positive contributions to underprivileged communities and individuals in the country.
According to the CSR policy, GMB is committed to behaving ethically and contributing to economic development while improving the quality of life for its workforce, their families, and the local community and society at large.
From the shop floor level to Executive Management and the Board, the GMB team recognizes their social obligation and impact on society. In a heartwarming display of community care, the Grain Marketing Board carries out an annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program focused on uplifting children's homes facing adversity. They reach out to several homes, including but not limited to Alfred Walter Children's Hostel in Masvingo, Eden Children's Village in Doma, and Ekhaya Kip Kino Children's Home in Gwanda. GMB donates food items and toiletries to these homes, demonstrating the organization's unwavering commitment to the community.
GMB's CSR theme, "OUR COMMUNITIES, OUR RESPONSIBILITY," continues to drive its efforts to make a positive contribution to the nation.
