Job Purpose

To lead the business development function of this rapidly growing entity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifies and evaluates new business opportunities, and leads the implementation thereof.
  • Analyses business intelligence to guide decision making.
  • Coordinates the corporate strategic planning process
  • Develops tracking and reporting metrics for the business

Qualifications & Experience

  • A good first degree in Economics/Agriculture Economics/Statistics/Business Studies
  • Masters’ degree in Economics/Agriculture Economics/Strategic Management/ Business Administration will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a senior managerial position.

Age 30 – 45

Job Purpose

To oversee and superintend over Production facilities and ensure quality and consistency of finished products. We need an experienced manager who has worked in the agro-processing sector

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans and schedules work for the department,
  • Co-ordinates resources (operational and human), schedules and activities to effectively manage jobs,
  • Manages quality service delivery to our clients,
  • Oversees the stores and logistics function of the department,
  • Ensures that effective stock control procedures are maintained,
  • Ensures compliance with all SHEQ policies, laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A good first degree in Food Processing, Engineering, or other relevant field.
  • Post graduate / professional qualification /MBA will be an added advantage.
  • At least 10 years’ hands on experience in the food processing industry, 5 of which directly in milling and pre-packs.

Age 30 - 45

Job Purpose

To take charge of the procurement of goods and services for the whole company. This position requires a seasoned procurement practitioner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops strategies, policies and procedures to create a world class Procurement Management Unit,
  • Directs activities of all functions involved in procurement, in-bound logistics, warehousing of raw materials, packaging and other inputs,
  • Manages inventory and establishes controls to ensure optimal performance and minimizes supply chain risks,
  • Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement,
  • Plays a key role in negotiation of major contracts,
  • Leads procurement for existing and new products,
  • Manages overall performance of the procurement function.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A good first degree in Purchasing and Supply, or equivalent.
  • Post graduate / professional qualification /MBA will be an added advantage.
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience, 5 of which at senior management level

Job Purpose

To take charge of Human Resource Management for the whole company. A Human Resource practitioner with a good track record is sought.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulates, develops, recommends, reviews and implements sound Human Resources policies and procedure manuals,
  • Manages and builds a culture of superior performance through implementation of an effective performance management system and ensuring all employees have signed performance contracts,
  • Fosters a harmonious industrial relations climate within the organisation in order to attain organisational objectives,
  • Initiates cost cutting measures on labour costs and advises on maintaining a sustainable salary bill
  • Trains and develops staff
  • Provides sound advice on all Human Resource issues.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A good first degree in Social Science/Behavioral Science, or equivalent.
  • Post graduate / professional qualification /MBA will be an added advantage.
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience, 5 of which at senior management level.

A registered legal practitioner of good standing.

Job Purpose

To take charge of the legal services and Corporate Secretarial services for the whole company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Services the Board and organizing Board and Board Committee meetings,
  • Vets and drafts contracts and policies affecting SFI,
  • Provides legal advice to SFI to achieve compliance with all legal requirements,
  • Manages the insurance portfolio,
  • Maintains Central Registry and SFI Records Archive.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A good first degree in Law. Post graduate / professional qualification /MBA will be an added advantage.
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience, 5 of which at senior management level in the public/commercial sector or advising corporate clients.

Age 30 – 45

An experienced manager who has worked in the agro-processing sector.

Job Purpose

To drive sales and distribution of Stock Feeds countrywide

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives tonnage and turnover targets
  • Formulates sales budgets
  • Formulates sales and route to market strategies
  • Recruits new customers and grow market share
  • Drives sales team performance
  • Customer relationship management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A good first degree in Animal Science or related.
  • Post graduate / professional qualification /MBA will be an added advantage.
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience, 5 of which at senior management level.
  • Sales and Marketing experience is a prerequisite
